Mercos began life in 2079 B.S. (approx. 2022 AD) as Mirmire Suppliers — created to solve a real gap in the market. Medicine shops across Western Nepal regularly needed VAT-registered personal care and supplement products that, not being classified as medicine, fall outside DDA registration. Mirmire Suppliers was founded to fill exactly that gap.
As the business grew into a distinct identity of its own, it was renamed Mercos on 2081/05/09 (approx. 2024 AD) — a name built from Mirmire, Cosmetic, and Supplement, reflecting precisely what the brand was created to deliver.
Today, Mercos operates as part of the wider Mirmire group, bringing the same distribution discipline and regional trust built over decades to cosmetics and personal care.
